Steve is a registered Mechanical Engineer and leader of the High Performance Building Team at Interface. His background is in Mechanical Engineering and Building Science, and his specialties include whole-building energy analysis, sustainable mechanical design, human thermal comfort, and mechanical control system optimization. Steve has substantial experience with successful LEED, Net-Zero, energy audits/retrofits, and Passivhaus projects. He also has conducted ground breaking research in the areas of natural ventilation control strategies and phase-change materials.
