Senior Program Manager, Performance Systems Development
Chris Hurwitz joined PSD in 2017 and currently serves as a Senior Program Manager for the PGW EnergySense Portfolio, the UGI Save Smart Residential Retrofit, Residential New Construction, Midstream Commercial Rebates and Custom Commercial Programs, and the PECO Low Income weatherization quality assurance programs. Chris is responsible for oversight of all program operations, enhancement, operational and strategic process development, and cost-effectiveness and savings calculation review and verification. He previously was a Program Manager at SmartWatt Energy, where he supervised all aspects of the PECO Small Business Direct Installation program. He also has worked in various management roles in the federal government, solid waste and food industries over the past 20 years.
Chris has a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from PMI and a master’s degree in Community and Regional Planning from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and Political Science from SUNY Plattsburgh.
