This session will describe how field managers from low income and market rate weatherization programs adapted to the limitations imposed by COVID-19 to continue to ensure work performed in utility customer’s homes was safe and meets all program requirements.

The session will cover how program staff worked with their utility partners in three separate cases to come up with a solution that provided value to the program and kept homeowners and staff safe. The presentation will focus on the transition from planning to implementation, lessons learned from implementation, and how these strategies have been incorporated into ongoing program operations. The session will end with a Q&A featuring the field managers who will provide their direct experience navigating the gap between theory and practice.
